steddie ficfinder was created may 3 2023 to find steve/eddie fics on ao3, twitter/x, or tumblr. our twt page serves as an archive for the lost and found fics of the steddie fandom.both mods are over the age of 18.this is not the steddie ficfinder on tumblr, that is a separate account run by different people.access our rentry here
looking for a lost fic? have no fear, the steddieficfinder is here!send us (the two mods) as much info as possible. i.e. the name, tags, scenario, where you might've seen the fic. you will only be tagged in the post if you ask specifically to be tagged, otherwise your post will be anonymous.we may edit your fic request for clarity (removing 'i' statements) and removing censored words so that the post is more likely to be muted by those who do not wish to see it. but we do our best to keep your fic request as unedited as possible!we will then dm you a link with your post and dm you any suggested fics. if we've found your fic, please let us know, we will then mark it as found in our tracker and quote twt it with the title, author and link.if we do not find your fic we will add it to our missing list. we rt any lost fics occasionally. we will never give up looking for any lost fics!we average a couple of fic finding requests a day, but it could easily be more. if you reach out to us, we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible. if you haven't heard from us after 3 days, please dm us again.you can also tag us asking for help finding a fic, but the best way to reach us is by dm. many people message us suggestions and it's easiest for us to get back to you if you are in our dms.if you post a tweet looking for a fic on your own tl and find it, feel free to tag us and we can make a post, as someone else may be looking for the same fic.p.s.
MINORS: if you are looking for a lost fic, we will only post your request if it is rated T (teen) or G (general). If we suspect your fic is NSFW, or has a M (mature) or E (explicit) rating, we will not post your request and we will not help you.dead dove fics will be tagged as #deaddovesteddie so feel free to mute that tag/phrase. the mods will do our best to post trigger warnings and content warnings where possible.however, we will make mistakes and we apologise deeply for those mistakes. we try our best not to edit or censor words so that any words you have muted will be caught properly but we understand that twitter's muting system is not perfect. feel free to unfollow the account or block the account to protect your peace!nsfw fic requests are often bracketed π like this π in a post. it is best to assume that any fic prompt or request may be NSFW until it is found and its rating is confirmed. twitter threads may also be unrated but be NSFW and not labelled as such. please take care of yourselves!please be polite in dms with us. we understand that losing a link to a fic you love or are currently enjoying is hard, but that's no reason to be unkind, impatient or entitled in our dms. please remember that tone is hard to read over dms as well. we don't know many of you personally.your fic may take a long time to find, but we will not give up!

- this is not our main account
- we usually only check notifs and dms
- at any point, if either of us lose interest in the fandom we will choose alternate mods to run this twt account (the brainrot is very strong, however...)
